We saw alots of sight in Halong Bay and our Guide was very infomative. The staff were very kind, the food was delicious and kayking in the lagoon was one of the hightlights at our holliday.
We have recently returned from our 2 week holiday in Vietnam where we had a most wonderful time (23rd November - 4th December 2008). I am just writing to pass on my sincere thanks to you for arranging such a wonderful itinerary - we found the country to be fascinating, the food delicious & the people very friendly. I was most impressed with the punctuality of your representatives when meeting us at the airport and on our day trips. I was also very impressed with the speed and efficiency you showed when we were forced to change our itinerary due to the bad weather in Nha Trang - I have to admit I was not very hopeful when we were re-routed to Ho Chi Min City instead of flying to Nha Trang during the first week of our stay, but within 10 minutes you had been able to re-schedule our remaining time in Vietnam & re-arrange accommodation without any problems at all, meaning that we did not lose too much holiday time and we were able to do all the tours we wanted to do. Even when we had to stay an additional night in Hanoi due to the bad weather in Nha Trang, you were able to put us in a 5-star hotel without any delay at all and your driver collected us extremely punctually very early the following morning at 3am. Please pass on our thanks to Ha who looked after us in Hanoi and also to Fu in Ho Chi Min City who did an excellent job of getting us some money back from Vietnam Airlines due to the changes in flights to Nha Trang / Ho Chi Min City. From Duy picking us up in the airport to the hotel, all the restaurants and food, the Junk and time at Halong Bay on " Annam Junk", everything was more than we could of hoped for. Our tour guide, Ha, in particular was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive and made the trip fun and relaxing. Please send him my regards. Our chef and server were also great, and the entire crew in general was extremely friendly and accommodating. Please commend them on a job well done!

This is a long overdue email.
I just wanted to let you know how much my family and friends enjoyed the
cruise on the Halong Bay Travel Junk. We had such a great time on board,
we were very happy with the crew, in particular the gentleman who acted as
the tour guide for all the guests. He was very helpful, polite and
friendly. We very much enjoyed all the varieties of seafood for all our
meals and the spring rolls were the best we have EVER
tasted! The teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking and we were very
lucky with the weather on the first day as it was very clear and made it
perfect for photos.
We hope that sometime in the future we may be able to enjoy your cruise
again. In the meantime we are happy to pass on your details to other
tourists who may be interested in touring Halong Bay on board a Junk.

Even so Halong is pretty spectacular. Karst topography for the geographers. Huge lumps of strangely shaped limestone, sticking out of the sea for the rest.
